HEATING:-
We offer two types of heating:-
1. Electric Heating. Each heater will heat approximately 120
square metres. An 80 KVA generator is required to run three
heaters – each heater has a power requirement of 20 kva..
Electric heaters are the easiest to operate.
Therefore as a guide to run three electric heaters complete
with generators will cost
2. Ducted Heating. These are diesel powered indirect heaters
which blow heated air into the marquee via a duct system. at
floor level. They are placed outside the tent.
For a more sophisticated set up – we would use roof ducting
and an industrial heating/air conditioning system.
GENERATORS
Our generators are silent and come in sizes from 20 kva up
to 500 kva. Our prices include wiring of marquee and a full
tank of diesel (which should last approximately 36 hours). In
the normal way (but depending on the size and type of event)
we would recommend to our clients that they hire two generators.
One for the event, and one as a back-up generator which will
pick up from the first in the event of a failure.
To calculate your power requirements you need to factor in
such variables as lighting, coolers, burco boilers, band/ musical
requirements, loos, external lighting, kitchen equipment etc.
– your electrician should help you decide on the level
of power you require.
